Questions frequently asked at AVSForum about the BDP-95.
The BDP-95 shares the same playback platform as the BDP-93, therefore most questions concerning it that do not revolve around its 'optimized analog audio performance' are likely the same as those addressed within the BDP-93 FAQ pages.
Is there a list of what improvements the 95 will have over the 93?
The 95 is a 93 with a better power supply, a better analog output board that includes stereo outputs (both balanced and unbalanced), and a slightly larger and nicer (at least IMHO) looking case. Aside from those differences, the players are functionally identical in all ways. Streaming services (Netflix, BB, etc.), DLNA support, USB/eSATA file support, physical media support, all configuration options, etc. are all the same between the 93 and the 95 and they use the same firmware. IIRC, there may be 1 additional configuration option for the 95 that affects the configuration of the stereo outputs. Everything discussed in the 93 thread (and FAQ pages), aside from analog audio performance (and the lack of 2 channel analog outputs on the 93), applies to the 95 assuming the same firmware version is installed.
